Joy Waleszkowska is a professional dog trainer and pet care specialist with over ten years of experience in the animal care industry. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Joy relocated from Denver, Colorado to Central Oregon in 2022, bringing with her a deep-rooted passion for animals that has guided her career since childhood.
Joy’s background spans a wide range of roles, including kennel technician work in veterinary clinics, positions in dog daycare facilities, and dedicated dog training since 2019. Most recently, she managed a Board and Train program, successfully working with up to twelve dogs at a time. In addition to intensive training programs, Joy provides private one-on-one sessions and leads group training classes tailored to each dog’s needs.
Beyond her professional work, Joy is an active foster for dogs whenever possible and is committed to supporting animals throughout every stage of their journey. Outside of training, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs and continually expanding her knowledge through reading and hands-on learning.
At the heart of Joy’s work is a simple goal: to live a joyful, balanced life alongside her dogs and to help others do the same with theirs.
